The Address-in-Reply was carried in the Assembly, no division being taken on Sir George Dibbs' amendment. He wished to withdraw it, bnt objection was taken. Beplying to Mr Sleath, Mr. Brunker, Colonial Secretary, said he would not hesitate to call into operation the fullest power to maintain the law.
