Nelson Bros.' new patent will oost per lb, and Smithfield experts expeot that it will increase the value of meat from Id to lid per lb. The process of mechanical thawing will oooupy two days for mutton, and five days for beef. Produce merchants in Cadiz, Spain, have requested Mr. Forrest, of Queensland, to forward thither a trial shipment of that colony's meat, as they believe there ia a good chance of opening up a market.
