Wind — Between north-east and north and west at all places northward of Lyttelton and Hokitika, and between north and west and south-west at all other places . Barometer— Further fall everywhere, but rising at all places south of Timaru and Queenstown after 16 hours Sea — Heavy on western coast and increase on eastern coast between Napier and Lyttelton Tidbs— High on western and increasing on eastern coast southward of Napier; moderate northward of Napier Warnings for northerly (rales and rain hare been sent to all places north of Napier and New Plymouth, and for westerly gales and rain to all other places BTSOPPIB OP LAST 24 HOURS. Thronghout the country the barometer has continued falling, and there hare been strong northerly gales at most places southward of Napier and New Plymouth S. A. EDWIN
