LAND BOARD ENQUIRY. ALLEGED DUMMYISM.
An enquiry was commenced by the Land Board this morning into the circumstances connected with the taking up of section 13, blook 13, Makuri Survey District, by Mrs. Sharman, wife of Mr. G. A. Sharman, sheepfarmer, residing near Pahiatua. The members of the Board present were — Moesrs. J. H. Baker (Commissioner), Hogg, Fisher, Pirani, and Fitzherbert. Mr. Gray appeared for Mrs. Sharman, and Mr. Skerrett for the Crown. [Left sitting.]
