His Honour regretted that the calendar was very heavy— heavier than it had been here for many yoara. There were no less than 25 prisoners, accused of various offenoes, and of that number it was very sad to refleot that no less than 10 were lad a under 21 born in the colony. The feature of the calendar was the large number of caseß of honse and shop breaking. Biohard Hoggie, for burglary at Seaoliff, was sentenood to six months' imprisonment ; Biohard Hodgetts, for stealing a mare, bridlo, saddle, and coat, was committed for two years ; and Hiram Holtz Harris, for larceny, for one month.
