PREFERENTIA L TARIFFS.
[epbcial.j London, 27th July. Colonel Denison, of Ottawa,' addressing the Federation League in London, urged that it would bo neoeaeary for the British Government to grant preferential rates to the colonies. Unless Canada was united by closer bonds there would be a danger of her breaking away. Amorioa was intriguing to that end. _________^__
