THE HOSPITAL. TO THE EDITOR.

Sib— lt soems to some desirable that there should bo an entranco to the Hospital from Revattß-Btreet. This would be more convenient for patieuta and friends in going and coining by tram-car or 'bus from town. It 'would also give the inhabitants of Wellington South a more convenient and needod entrance from their part of the town. We may be told of many difficulties^ in the formation of the ground for a right-ofiway. These surely can bo overcome by practical men. One would also hope that tho proprietors of the land will act generously, justly to themselves and to the public, and will not demand such a price as would make it virtually impossible for the purchase of a right-of-way. A high olose-boardod fence is being erected along the side of the Hospital. This, of course, rightly prevents trespassers, and it is should onßure greater quiet for tho patients, but it also reminds tho publio that there is " no road this way " from Bovane-stroet. I am, &c, Pro Bono Publico. Wellington, 13th April, 1891.
