THE BLIND STUDENTS.
«. Tho Blind Maeical Students re-appeared at tho Exchange Hall last ovening before » good andionoe, and gave an entertainment as surprisingly and as interesting as that which excited so much attention on their previous visit. The new programme included two pianoforte solos— tho Pasquinade" of Gottscbalk, by Mias Wotton, and a " Polish Danoe," by Master Bartlett. The same young Jady sang " Thn Masquerade" and " The-., Minstrel Boy," and played a violin solo as well as taking part in duets, and she played somo singularly sympathetic accompaniments. Miss Milvogue sang Ganz' " Nightingale's Trill," "Far, Far Away," "Summer Showers," and in duets. Mr R. Bland sang " The Holy City " and " The Soldier's Good-byo," and took part in duets with Master C. Bartlett, and concertod numbers in which Mr. Irwin — whose vocal solo was the " Romawy Lass "—also took part. Mr. Frwin contributed a born solo, and Master Bartlett a flute obbligato and a flute solo. There were very remarkable illustrations of the case with which tbo blind students can read prepared books, their own and others' writing, read ordinary playing oards, and make arithmetical calculations. There will be another performance to-night, and a sacred concert to-morrow. ' The concert to-morrow evening will be in the Opera House, and to-morrow afternoon there will bo one at the Oddfellows' Hall, Petone. Last evening Miss M'lnfcosh played the accompaniments at short notice. ,
