♦ AN EXPERIMENTAL SHIPMENT. I UNITED FBXBB ASSOCIATION. I (Received April 13, 10.45 a.m.) London, 12th April. A shipment of fowls and ducks from Australia packed in boxes was a great success, but Ibe experiment of packing them in muslin was not nearly bo successful. It is suggested that the feet of the fowls ought to be scalded and cleaned prior to shipment.
