TO THI EDITOB. Si c— The comet, the position of which was telegraphed from Sydney the other day, is slowly increasing in bri'liancy. It can now be juat eeen with the naked eye. It is in the south, and to-night (11th April;, at 8 p m., was in suoh a position as to nake almost an equilateral triangle with the two Magellan clouds, to the right of them. It is moving upwards towards the zenith, and at present appears as a ema'l nebulous mass, with a brighter nucleus. I am, &0., Chab. P. Powles.
