A COLONIAL CHARGED WITH IMPOSTURE.
I UNITED PEBSS ASSOCIATION, j London, 9th April. A man named Augustus William Myers was to-day charged with forgery. The prosecutor declares that Myers said he was a rich physician from Adelaide, and a lncky speonlator at Broken Hill. On the faith of laudatory credentials, Myers borrowed .£3OO pending the arrival of remittances. It was, bo added, arranged to start stockbroking in Adelaide, bnt after obtaining tbe sum of .£2OOO, accused vanished. The prisoner was remanded.
