The organ is to bo taken to pieces, rebuilt, and tho whole of the pipes revbrced, and a new choir organ is> to be added. The specification prorideß-for 15 new stops, and the organ when completed under the contract will contain 1772 pipes-, as against 1304 in the present organ. The work is to be 'pushed forward as soon as sufficient funds are in hand. Subscriptions can befonvardod to Mr R. C. Hamerton (treasurer), Mr. T. W. Pilcher, juu. (seorotary), The Organ Cominitteo corresponded with five leading mnaioians in .Australia, tbo Town Clerks of Melbourne ami St. Kilt'a, and tho Chairman of the Kxhibition- Trustees. Eight replies were received, vhieh were read and considered most fitisfaetory. There remained no doubt in tho mind of the meeting that tho abovo-namod firm is fnlly compotent to carry ont tho ro-constmction and alterations ill every rospect, namely, workmanship, tone, and voicing.
