BURGLARY AT MENINDIE. ? (S.A. Register.)

For the past thirty-sovon years the Hon. G. C. Walker, M.P., has resided at " The Briars," Menindie, in fancied security from tho enterprising burglar; but on Saturday he/and his family had their confidence rudely disturbed by discovering that the mansion had been broken into on Friday night, and a quantity of valuable jewellery and a largo sum of money stolon.
