The first of the annual series of matches plnyed between the To Aro and Parliamentary Reoesß Tennis Clubs took place on the ground of the latter on Saturday, resulting, after snmo very close and interesting games, in a win for Te Aro by five games to fonr, the total points scored dnring the match being— Te Aro 659, Recess 62(5.
