SECOND EDITION.
CRUSHED TO DEATH. ♦ Inspeotor Pender received a telegram this afternoon from Martinborough to the effeot that Mr. Ernpat S. Skey, aged about 22 years, met hia death this morning whilst in charge of a traotion engine. Beyond mentioning the fact that the deceased was crushed between the trucks whioh were behind the engine, no particulars are given. The late Mr. Skey was a son of the Government Analyst, and was a mechanical engineer by trade.
