Owing to the Wairarapa train being an hour late in arriving laßt night, the mails were not sorted in time to reach the Secretary of the Baaing Club yesterday evening, and consequently acceptances which only came to hand this morning hod to be rejected. The nnfortunateß were— Mr. J. Macara'a Brookfield for the Hack Handicap, Margrave for the Maiden Plate, and Mr. E. J. Walden's Bimataki for the Hack Hurdles.
