As he came out of a window on to the verandah roof, Constable Hutohinson called on him to snrrender. Ho refnscd, bnt climbed to tho roof of the house, slid down the back piping, and leaped into the street. He was pursued and captured. Ho waß remanded, as he had injured his leg in jumping from the house into the street, and is under medical treatment
