lUNHKD PHKSS ASSOCIATION. I London, 29th August. The miners on strike in Holbrook, Derbyshire overpowered he police, and brutally ill-treated tho workers. Tbo police are besieged while awaiting reinforcements. Latest. WELSH MINERS STARVING. I SPECIAL. I (Received August 30, 10.50 a.m.) London. 29th August. About 1000 Welsh miners are in a starving condition. Mr. Bon Tillett and others condemn tho strike, and urge tho men to form a Union Mr. Tillett also advocates that the minors' wages should regulate the price of coal. The Durham miners have a^ain declined tost- ike.
