As a lockstitch it excels all othera. The bobbin holds 100 yards, and the rotary motion is so quiet, easy, and smooth that it makes 100 stitches while others do 65. For tliesp reasons, and the fact that it works black cotton better than any other, all dressmakers should nse it. To persons who bare only need the reciprocating and vibrating shuttle machines, a trial of the Standard is a revelation.
