Hoavy rain is fulling, and tho prospects for tho conquering match between New Zealand and South Wales to-morrow are not of the brightest. Sir Henry Parkes has entertained the colonial team. In addressing ita members, he stated that tho visits of athletic teamß to tho Bister colonies must give rise to links of union and mutual respect. It would, ho said, be impossible for them to leave thoso shores without having done service in tho cause of Federation.
