TO-DAY'S PARLIAMENT.
♦ HOUSE OF BEPKE3ENTATIVES. ■ The Premier presented an explanation as t) the error in the Public Works Statement of last year, and moved that it be referred to the Public Accounts Committee. The explanation was from Mr. Blow, Secretary of t'le Public Works Department, and covered similar ground to that explained by ns ulsewhere. Mr. flolleston seconded the motion. Political use had been made of the error by the Government Party before the House and the country. [Left sitting. |
