SUNDAY TRAIN. TO THE EDITOR.

Sir— Some time back something was said to the effect that the Wellington and Manawatu Railway Company contemplated running a train on Sunday s. Since then nothing has been done in that way, and I therefore prrsumo that the company think that tho inducement to do so would bo insufficient. I wonld like to suggest that an excursion train be run as far as Woodville every third or fourth Sunday, leaving Wellington at 7 a.m. and Woodville about 6 or 7 p.m , something similar to the train usually run on public holidays. I feel sure, sir, should this be done that the company wonld sustain no loss by it, that it would be a great boon to the public, and would bo well supported by them. Hoping some more able penman will take this subject in hand, and thanking you, sir, for space in your columns in anticipation, I nm, &c, E. H. Kl.N'o. Wellington, 24th July.
