Tho New Zealand Land Association (Ltd.) littvo received tho following- cablegram from its London omoo, dated 2Ut inst.: —Wool — Tho sales closed firmly this day. Sinco the oloso of last sales, the following alterations in prioos have to be recorded: Greasy morino super, fine greasy, fine washed and fine scoured orossbred, are Id per lb. lower; washed merino supor, scoured morino supor, washed merino medium and inferior, medium washed-and medium scoured crossbred, and greasy orossbrod lambs, aro id to Id por lb. loworj greasy moiino medium and inferior, medium greasy crossbred, ooarse greasy, coarse washed and ooarso scoured orossbrod, greasy merino lambs super and medium and inferior, are id per lb. lower. Tho total quantity sold during the past sales is 314,000 bales, of which 189,000 bales have been taken for export, and it is estimated that 62,000 balos have been held over for future disposal. Tallow—Tallow is dull of sale. Fine mutton and good beef tallows are worth respectively 30a and 28s 3d per ewt. Frozen meat—For Now Zealand mutton thero is a fair demand, Canterbury and Wellington being worth respectively 3jd and 3|d per lb. Tho lamb market is dull, and prime Nevr Zealand lambs are worth per carcase 4}d per lb. Tho beef market is firmer, and New Zealand beef, fore and hind quarters, are worth 3}d and sjd per lb. respectively. Quotations nomi-
