A deputation appointed by the United Hnnt Olub, consisting ot Mr. D. G. A. Cooper (Deputy-Master), Mr. Joseph Myers (Secretary), Drs. Cabill and Gillon, and Mossrs. \Vylio, Dyer, Mills. Cox, and Skerretfc, waited upon Mr. H. M. Lyon, who acted as hon. secretary for the Club's recent race meeting, and warmly expressed the Club's thanks for the able manner in which he had conducted the meeting, and at the same time begged Mr. Lyon to accept a souvenir which was handed to him, as a slight recognition of his services. Mr. Lyon thanked the Club for tho expression of confidence in him, and said that he had taken a great interest in the meeting from his desire to enaourage the sport of h anting. He would always bo glad to assist tho Hant Club as far as ho could.
