The disturbance iv Mashonaland ho,s been caused by afow Matabele3 under Lobenernla who have slipped oat of his control. Fort Victoria is well provided with stores and Gatling guns Sir Henry Looh has requested Lobengula to recall the impi and punish the Indunas who are responsible for tho action of the natives. He oxpects that the ordar will bo complied with, and docs not contemplate any danger to the settlement, which is protected by 400 Europeans. Tho latest reports say that the Matnbeles have retired.
