PROGRAMME (Approved by the Metropolitan Club). 1. Maiden Steepleobase Handicap, of 30 soys ; second horse 5 boys from tho stakes. Maidon riders allowed 71b. For hunters that havo never won an advertised Hurdlo Race or Steeplechase Minimum weight, list. Nomination, 10b ; acceptance, 10s. About two miles. 2. Open Hurdle Handicap, of 45 soys; second horse 5 soys from the stakes Nomination, 1 boy ; acceptance, 1 soy. One milo and three-quaiters. 3. United Hnnt Club Steeplechase Handicap, of 50 soys ; second horee 10 Soys from the stakes. For hnntors only, llinimum weight in handicap, list ; maiden riders allowed 71b. No-nination, 1 soy j acceptai 00, 1 boy. About throe miles and a half. 4. Open Steeplechase Handicap, of 75 soys ; second horse 10 eovs from the stakes. Nomination, 1 boy ; acceptance, 2 soys. About three miles. 5. Ladies' Bracelet Handicap. — First horse, a bracelet of the value of 25 pots ; second horse, a bracelet of tbo value of 5 sovb (or cash equivalent). For hunters only. Gentlemen riders, who must produce their certificates from tho Metropolitan Club in the district in which they reside. The horses to be nomi-nn-tecl by ladies, and will roqaire to jump a hnrdle to tho satisfaction of the stewards before starting. Maiden riders allowed Mb. Minimum weight, list. Races Nos. 1, 3, 5 and 7 are confined to qualified hunters only. Owners or riders must produce Masters* Certificates to the Clerk of tho Scales before the horses aro weighed out for any of theso events. Races Nob. 2, 4 and 6 are open events. Qualification of a Hnn f er — A hunter is a horse that has been hunted regularly with any recognised pack of bounds, to the satisfaction of the Master, during the present season (1893), and the bona fide property of a member of any recognised Hunt Club. Definition of a Maiden Rider — Any member of a recognised Hunt Club, who has never before ridden in a race of any description (hunter raceß excepted), and who has never won a hunters' race at tho time of starting.
