THE NAVAXS' CAMI\ Despite the unpleasant weather yesterday afternoon, there was a fairly good muster of 52 of the Navals for camp at 6 p.m. After arrival at Hahungu Bay, the men fell in at their respective posts The starboard watch, under the torpedo instructors, was kept busy from 6.45 till 8.30, while the port watch mustered at Fort jßallance, and received instruction in the 6-inch b.l. gnn and the 6-pounder Nordenfeldts, some of the more advanced hands being put to the rangefinder. Tea was served at the usual hour, 8.45, and the camp was asleep by 11 p.m. The " rouse" was sounded punctually at 4.30 this morning, and all the squads were at work by 5. Tho starboard watch was kept to signalling, and boat drill in the company's cutters. One squad of the gunners was taken to Kau Point battery for instruction in tho 8-inch b.l. gun, while the rest received instruction in the I\ordenfeldts and rangefinder at Fort Ballance. On Thursday, and again on Saturday afternoon next, Fort Ballance will be manned for action, the proper stations being allotted to officers and men . The annual examinations will probably be held at camp during next week. The Ellen Ballance leaves for camp this evening as usual at 6 o'clock.
