The former members havo been re-electod for Crowe (Mr. W. S. B. Maelarcn, L) and St. Androws (Mr. Anstruther. U). Mr. Byrne (C) has been elected for Walthamstow. The Liberals have elected the following membors :— For Ross and Cromarty, Mr* Weir ; Tynesido, Mr. J. A. Pease; the Flint Burghs, Mr. Lowis ; Swansea Town, Mr. Burnie; Carmarthenshire, Mr. Jones. Armagh South has returned Mr. M'Hugh (N). In the olections the total Liberal gains are 50 ; tho Government gain 20. Mr. P. ftl'Dermott (N) has boen re-elected for Kilkenny North. Tho returns at present are — Tories, 191 ; Unionists, 24 ; Gladstonians, 163 ; Nationalists, 24 ; Parnollites, 4. Tho Dubin Unionists aro rejoicing at the results of the elections, and Irish Bank stocks, whioh fell on publication of Mr. Gladstone's manifesto, havo risen £i. Mr. Justin M'Carthy was beaten at Londonderry by 20 votes. Mr. Ben Tillett, who was defeated recently, will contest Pudsey. Tho Pall Mall Gazette attributes Mr. Morley 's position to tho activity of labourers and Socialists.
