♦ .Bt Tblbgeaf^.j (Our Own Correspondent. ) Gbeytown Nobtji , This Day. The Greytown Cricket Club scored a win with Matarawa on Saturday, the result being 34 for Greytown and 30 for Matarawa. The match was decided on the first innings. Building is going on here, though not to such an extent as last year. New livery stables are to be erected on the main street for Mr. Bowers. Mr. Bright, blacksmith, is going to considerably enlarge his present residence. Mr. Baillie, sawmiller, has completely eclipsed his old residence, and a large two-story building takes its place. Mr. Varaham is finishing a house for himself in Haatwoll-street, and he has the Church of England new schoolroom in hand. A pigeon shooting match takes place at Waihenga during the Easter holidays, when .£4O will be offered in prizes.
