PRODUCE REPORT,

The Now Zealand toon and Mercantile Agonoy Company (Limited) roport on the produce markefs for tho week ending Wednesday, 25th Ncvember, ns follows :— Sheepskins.— During the week we hare submitted largo catalogues of green polts, which ore iv actiro demand, and our supplies have beou cleared at full market rates. Fine, woolly skins aro in tho market, but any lota coming forward are placed at late prices— Tiz., greon erossbreds, 5s to 6s : green pelts, 8d to Is 2d j country skins, 3 id to B|d per lb. Tallow and Fat.— London market is reported by cable as slightly easier, good mutton being worth 26(1 3d, and eood beef 25s 3d per cnt. Locally, the " boilors" take up all consignments received at full rates. Inferior to good tallow, 14s to 18s ; prime mutton, 20s to 235 ; rough fat, 18s per cwt. Hldei.— Quotations are without alteration. . Wheat.— The stocks of whole fowl wheat ore in narrow compau, aud holders are very firm at 4s per bushel. Prices have an upward tendoucy owing to tho quantity of supplies throughout the colony, Oats.— Them is a good onquiry for hoavy food, and wo havo placed parcels at Is 9d to Is lOJd, according to quality. Barley.— Nominally worth 2s to 2s 6d. Grass Seed.— Until tho autumn demands set »n there will be no business of any importance passing. Hemp.— Wo rogrot we are unable to chronicle any improvement undor this heading. London cables report a weak market without any alteration in values sinco last writing— viz., £19 10s far, medium —and unless mannfactnrers are prepared to como down to the equivalent of rates ruling there, wo do uot Bee any prospect of busiuos» resulting meantime. Quotations nominally, JEU 10s to £15 per ton. Froron Meat —Our London manager cables under date 21st iust. : Both mutton and beef markets are firmer. Other quotations unchanged since last telegram.
