Garrick, AgentGeneral fof Queensland, assured tho Bank of England that he has givon no support to the oharges made against tlie institution by Sir Thos. M'llwraith. I special. (Rcceivod November 26, noon). London, 25th November. In the opinion of city men the Bank of England will withdraw from the Queensland business unless Sir T. M'llwraith tenders an apology. If the Bank takes this extreme action, it will probably interfere with futuio borrowing by tho colonies.
