THE OCEAN BEACH SENSATION.

At a conference of delegates from the three suburban boroughs of South Dunedin, St. Kilda, and Caversham, interested in the encroachments of the sea at St. Clair and Ocean Beach, it was re&plved to engage Mr. (x. M. Barr to report on the subject, with the remedy and its cost. One indignant landowner threatens that unless steps are taken to protect his property he will sell sand from his property and thuß lead to the sea undermining and Bweeping away the Central Battery.
