Parnell Memorial Fund.
[By Telegraph.] [united peess association.] Cheistchuech, 12th June. At a meeting to-night, representing the City Council, the trade societies and citizens, and presided over by tho Mayor, a committee was appointed to get up a demonstration in aid of the funds for the memorial to the late S. D. Parnell, originator of the Eight Hour System. The tone of the meeting was decidedly hearty. Mr. H. W. Potter, secretary of tho general committee, was present.
