The following events were run after we went to press yesterday. At a meeting of Stewards, Sentinel was s»t allowed to Btart for the Steeplechase : — Autumn Handioap, of 200 boys ; added to a sweepstake of 3 boys each, the owner of tho Beoond horse to receive 30 boys ; and the owner of the third, 10 soys out of the stakes. One mile and a quarter. Hilda was favourite, with Impulse next in demand After several breaka away, in whioh Impulse figured prominently, tho field wore sent off on even terms. Hilda was the first to assume the lead, but they had travelled only a few yards when The Dreamer ran to the front and passed the Stand first, with Impulse on his quarters, then came Leorina and The Baron, Coalscuttle and Fiesole together, while Hilda had fallen back last. Rounding the lower turn, Jmpnlso, fighting for his head, wrested the lead from The Dreamer, and he had a length's advantage as they headed for the baok of the course. This be inoreased to five by the time the Btraight was reached, and ho finally won in a oanter by eight lengths from Coalscuttle, who was two lengths in front of The Dreamer. Time, 2min 12£ see. Dividend, £3 16s 6d. Autumn Steeplechase, of 150 soys ; the owner of second horse to reoeive 25 sow, and the owner of the third 10 soys out of the stakes. About three miles and a half. Mr. J.
