It "' entail much loss upon many of our ottters. , The Foresterß of Qreytown are enlarging their hall, and intond to mako it in every way comfortable and suitable for entertainments of all kinds. A very pretty burlosqne was put upon the 'boards of the Palaoe Theatre not many nights since by Mr. Barnard, the proprietor. " Aladdin " was the name of the piece, and about 20 ohildren living in the town were the actors. No trouble or expense was spared in making the performance a surprise to the public, and Mr. Barnard succeeded. The dresses were magnificent, and the soenery was all new, painted by Mr. Briggs. AH who witnessed the speotaole were delighted. I Beo Wellington is to have its Arboi Day as well aa Qreytown. It is a good institution, and I should like to see every town in the colony taking up the idea. Most of the trees planted last yoar in Greytown are thriving well. Those that have perished \ are to be replaced when planting time oomea. Preparations will soon be on the way for our second Arbor Day. Building is brißk just now. Mr. J. Tully is building a large residence upon the site of hie old one, Mr. H. S. Izard has the timber ready for his placo in Knratiwhiti-atreet, and one or two oottages are going up. Next woek a party of Featheraton children will give an entertainment at the Palaoe Theatre in aid of the Grojtown Hospital.
