MR. MACDONALD AND UNIONISM.
TO TUX EDITOR. Sib,— May I remind t&e electors of Wellington that T. K. Macdonald* promised on the platform to have justico done to the two sintrle women weavers. The directors met on Wednesday, and perhaps they thought it ,waa> a mistake to have had the- men 1 weavers dismissed, as the nightwatohman, a non-tfnfonist, is now started to weave two box loom«< Now, Mao, you should have given the preferenoe to one of the sixteen men weavers the Trades Connoil Committee reported on, as they are all Unionists. The leader of the Post oonsiders you have the support of the Unionists. I hope not, for you cannot say, as the Post reports is said by the employers of Brisbane, that no leader of the strike will be " victimised." lam sorry to see there aro no working men of prinoiple at Wades town, or they would have opposed a vote of confidence being passed in T. K. Maodonald, on aooonnt of his aonduot to working men at Potone. Working men, stand true to sour class, and vote for a truthful and better hearted man than T. K. Macdonald. I am, Ac, Working Man.
