•— Tbo matoh between representatives of tho oabdrivers residing in Thorndon and Te Aro respectively took place yesterday afternoon, on the Manawatu Railway gronnd. The oabbics entered into the game with great enthusiasm, and in their oagorncßS to sooro forgot the usual spell in the middlo of the gamo. The contest eventually ended in a draw, either side scoring two tries. Those for Thorndon were obtained by Jorgonsen and Astill, and those on ihe other side by Winsor and Sutherland. Baghurst, of Thorndon, had his hip brnisod during tbo progress of the same.
