On resuming the orioket match to day tho wicket was in a terrible state from the heavy rain, and in tho second innings the Leicestershire team oould make no stand against the Australian bowling, the eleven being disposed of for the small total of 46. The Austialians thus won by an innings and 64 runs. Ferris scoured six of the wickots at the cost of 19 runs, Turner three for 22, and Trumblo one for 3. (Received Jnly 11, noon.) London, 10th July. The match between the Australians and Gloucestershire began at Bristol to-day. The County, which was captained by W. G. Grace, went in first, and at lunch time had lost four wickets for 73.
