The Weather.
After several months of drought, grateful i rain has sot in at last, and the downfall of ■ yesterday and last night was such as should ■ do an immense amount of good to the dried up country distriots. Prom the telegrams to ' hand it would seem that the rain has been pretty general throughout the colony. Up ; to 930 this morning the rain-gauge at the i Museum registered a fall oi 0.80 inches. Shortly after 10 o'clock this morning the . snn re-asserted itself, and it would appear that fine weather is again likely to 8«t in.
