Esmonde addressed a large audience laat evening, and was enthusiastically received. The ohair was occupied by Mr. H. Dpdaon, M.H.R., and the audience listened with rapt attention to the able address of the delegate. The following resolution was carried :— " That this meeting desires to express ita entire sympathy with the efforts being made to seenre for Ireland the right to manage her internal affairs, and it considers that such a system of government would promote the welfare of the Empire at large." The collection amounted to over J650. Sir Thomas Eamonde addressed a good meeting last night. The result of the vißit to Blenheim is that over .£IOO waa contributed. Much disappointment is felt at Mr. Dillon not coming. Westport. This Dat. Mr. Dillon arrived by the Mawhera at 5 o'clock thiß morning, and waa received by a large assemblage of Home Rnle sympathisers. At noon he was presented with an addreßS ou behalf of the general sympathisers with the Irish National League and colonial-born sympathisers. Presents were also made. Mr. Dillon made a suitable reply. Addresses will he presented at a public meeting to-night. Mr. Dillon proceeds to Reefton from here.
