A meeting of Freemasons, attended by the masters and members of the thr,ee _ local lodges, unanimously rewired, " Thit in the opinion of this meeting the time has not corns foe the establishment of a Grand Lodge of New Zealand." Nelson, Bth April. At a largely-attended meeting of Freemasons it was decided, "That in the opinion of this meeting it is desirable to form a United Grand Lodge for New Zealand." Tie ceeting was not unanimous on the 6ueßtk>n, atd a proposition to join the Masonjc Uttibn-wae defeated. The matter has baen dißcusaed iti both of the loc&l : lodges, aad they had decided to hold* an opea ' meeting of Masons in order to allow brethren i from other lodges to attend. 1
