Joe Scott in Christchurch.
[By Telegraph.] [united press association.i Christchurch, 21st January. Joe Scott oommenoed his week's walking rocord - breaking exhibition in the Palane Rink to-night. In tho first hour J. M'Court opposed him, sooring 7 miles 7 laps to Scott's 7 miles 1 lap. Soott continued the second hour against G. Muhlioson, who brought the total up to 14 miles, Scott 13 miles 17 laps. F. Bowen went on tho third hour, bringing the score to 20 miles 9 laps, against Scott's 19 miles 6 laps.
