A Clerical Scandal.
i SPECIAL. | (Received January 21, 10 a.m.) London, 19th January. It ia reported that at a private gathering of colonial Bishops after thn Lambeth Conferenoe loud complaints were heard of the way in which the Roman Catholio Ohnroh is increasing in influence in the oolonios. This was attributed by some speakers to the faot that many of the Anglican clergyman are milksops, or men of small intellectual calibre, quite unfitted for the positions they hold.
