♦ The unanimity of opinion expressed by the papers in regard to the now Railway Board is really very remarkable. Putting aside the two or three journals whose speoial mission it is to applaud and bless all that the Government does, and the Wanganni Herald, which has latterly shown a tendenoy to do something of tho same kind in regard to all appointments made by Government, the press of tho colony seemß to be almost unanimous on all points conneoted with tho new Board. So far as we have Been, there has not been a dissentient voice raised in regard to the selection of Mr. Hannat aB one of the Commissioners.
