Thursaay Afternoon I Mr F. H. Wood reports a large attendance at the I Turatuhi yards on Wednesday. Sheep were in good demand, nnd showed an increase in prices; no heavy sheep were yarded. Cattle still dull, several lots being passed in. Bheep— forward ewes, 6s 9d ; lambs, 6s 9d ; store ewes and wethers, mixed, 88 Id ; culled ewes, 4s cd to 6i lOd ; fat ewes, 7s 6d ; culled ewes and wethers, mixed, 5s Bd. Cattle— 2-yr-old steers, 82s 6d to 67a 6d ; heifers, 45a ; calves and yearlings, 14s 6d ; store cows, 30s to 35s j dairy do, 60s to 90s.
