Tragedy in Western Australia. MURDEROUS BAID BY AN EMPLOYE.
THE PERPETRATOR AT LARGE. [united press association. I Pjeeth, 17th January. A terrible tragedy is reported from a country district, where a settler named M'Pherson bus been shot dead by an employe 1 named Johnson. The latter then tamed his attention to Mrs. M'Pberson, whom he battered to death. An eleven-year-old son, was also beaten badly about the head, and is not expected to recover. A daughter, aj»ed 14, after witnessing the horrible fate of her parents, fled from tho place, and managed to elude the mnrderer and effect an escape. Johnson is not yet captured.
