The bullocks were of medium quality and light weight. The cows were a good lot. Sheer "were in average supply; lambs ia fewer numbers. The pigs advertised did not come forward. Bullocka -made from £4 17s 6d to JJS 12s 6d, averaging £5 6s ; «ows. £8 13s 6d to £4 2s 6d. averaging £3 17a IW. Bheep-Best wethers, 10a Btl to 11s; others, 10s Id ■to 10a 4d ; best ewes, Os ; others, 7s 3d to 8s ; lambs, ■8s lOd to Bs. Bullock beef, 18s the 1001b ; cow, 11s; mutton, ljd to 2d per lb Mr F. H. Wood reports of his stook sale, held nt the Taratahi yards yesterday, stock of all classe-i was well represented, and there was a large stteuflance of buyers. Compe'ition for sheep showed a alight advance, but cattle were not much enquired for. Bheep— Fat wethers (medium weights) 9a Id, do ewes 6s 11s to 7s 3d ; 2-tooth (store ewes), 7i Id ; dry ewes, full mouth, 5s Id ; ewes and lambs, 6a Id to 8s 4d. Cattle— Heifers, yearlinps 245, 2-year-old ditto, 85h ; steera, 2-year-old 52s M to 60a j dairy cows, 50i to 60s ; store do. 30s to 40s
