The am ual sale of thoroughbred yearlings from the New Zealand Stud Company's estate at Sylvia Park was held to-day. Thoro was a very largo attendance, including Mosi-rB. G. G. Stoad, P. Butler, D. O'Brien, and S. H Gollan, and other Southern visitors. There was fair competition, and good average prices were realised. The stock sired by the ■ stallion Nordenfcldt attracted great attontion, and when a colt by that horte from Necklace's dam, Locket, whs led into the ring.
