| UNITED PRKBB ASSOCIATION. | Stdnit, 29th October. For the sonlling race to-d»y between Kemp, the ex-champion, and Matterson, the betting was 4 to 1 on Kemp at the start. Before the first dozen lengths were rowed Kemp had forged ahead, and maintained the position till the mile beacon was reached, when a foul occurred. The foul was entirely j Matterson's fault, and it gave increased advantage to Kemp. Matterson after this made no further effort, and Kemp won as he liked. Time, 22min. 26|seo. Auckland, 29th Ootober. It is probable that one of the Auckland yachts will be sent to compete in the large yacht race at Wellington in January next.
