The promoters will accept for the above concessions and their rights thereunder, five thousand shares. 10s paid-up, and five thousand pounds (,£5000) in cash, in four equal instalments during the first year. Twenty thousand shares (20,000) aro offered to the public upon the terms stated. The promoters will pay a sum not exceeding wCIOO for floating and registering the Company. Any snm in excess of this amount will be paid by tho Company. 8 The Permanent Directors will be appointed at a meeting of the Company, to bo held one month after tho date of incorporation. Forms of application for shares may be had at the office of the Brokers. The objects of tho Company aro :— (a) To work the bod of the Wakamarina Rivor wherever praoticablo, and whore local enterprise has up to tho presont time failod to reach. (b) To mine in tho gold-bearing terraces on eaoh side of the Wakamarina River. (c) To prospect for tho various quartz reefs from which the heavy gold distributed throughout tho bed of tho Wakamarina River, its banks and tributaries, has originated. (d) To mine for gold in the Wakamarina and iVTabakipawa distriota. Mining operations have from 1863 up to tho present day been carried on by a fluctuating population, and many rich finds aro continually boing brought to light. Tho various modern inventions in the form of dredges and othor mining applianoes bring within oasy reach of a company means of coping with the water difficulty, wliioh has hitherto proved a barrier to the development of much of the Wakamarina Goldfiold, and especially^ so the more level parts of the rivor, where, in oonsoquenoo of the stillness and volumo of the current, the richer depoaita and heavier gold may naturally bo expected to lodge. With the maohinerv piropo3od to work the riverbed, the promoters are confident that these terraces oan be tested and worked concurrently with the riverbed. Deep gorges exist throughout the rivor, and to enable these to be bottomed, it is intended in some instances to divert the main channel and carry on a system of work by slnioiog. Tho promotors have already Beoured ground, where such works have been commenced. Tests by divers and by sinking oylinders havo placed beyond doubt the fact that heavy gold is deposited in those natural detainers, many of which are situated in the Wakamarina River, at the junction of its rioheßt gold-bearing tributaries. Copies of the prospootas may ba obtained on application at tho Brokers' offioe. "DANK OF NEW ZEALAND. NEW SHARE ISSUE.
